My Dad was released as a stake president a few weeks ago and lucky him, Elder Oaks of the Quorum of the 12 was the presiding authority for the meetings. That means that Elder Oaks got to stay in my parents home and take meals with them etc. My parents had a wonderful experience meeting Elder Oaks and say that he was very pleasant, gracious and had quite a sense of humor. Now my dad finds himself without a calling (I'm sure momentarily) and looking for something to do.
