Busy July

July is always the busiest month of the summer.  We could only afford to take one week off of work so Michael took the week of the 4th off and we crammed in as many trips as we could in that week.
It started off in Show Low, AZ (technically it was Clay Springs but whatever) at the Gibson family reunion.  All of my siblings, minus Missionary Dana were there and it was so much fun.  

We filled up the kiddie pool but even though the air temperature was in the 90's, the water was SO COLD! Uncle Craig and uncle Jeff did their best to get the kids excited but it didn't last too long. :)

   

 There was a ping pong table there and Michael put it to some good use. The contest became who could score any points on him, despite his high handicap. I know I didn't score any points on him!

Lucy and James had fun together. Going through Mommy's wallet is a universal good time. Emma and Craig's little boy, Corban, also had a good time together. Getting into all sorts of mischief. Oh boy.

After Show Low, we took a plane to Idaho Falls for the Simpson family reunion. We got to see both of Michael's brothers and their families and we had such a good time. One place we went to was called Ijump and it was a very cool trampoline park. Emma wasn't too sure about it and I finally convinced her to try it out. she took one jump and didn't stop the rest of the time! The kids all had a blast.

We also went to Pocatello to visit Michael's mission president and to visit a water park. The kids loved swimming but loved the water slide even more. James loved watching and chilling.

From Idaho we left for Michigan to visit our very dear friends, the Sullivans.  This picture was taken as we changed planes in Minneapolis.  We gave a big HELLO! to my sister Dana who is serving in that mission.

We watched the drawbridge open at Lake Charlevoix.

Mike and Carol showed us their new surprise, a huge boat!  We loved going on the lake with them.  It was seriously amazing how much I enjoyed myself.  The kids thought it was pretty cool too.

Emma and Jack were best friends. We frequently noticed that they wandered off to play together and  Emma talks about riding scooters with Jack all the time. What could be better than that?!

Our trip was a whirlwind, but a good one.  We loved visiting all of the most important people in our lives and miss you all even more.  If that's possible. :)
