March brings us 2 birthdays: Michael's and Emma's. Michael chose to have meat and potatoes for dinner and an ice cream cake for dessert. No surprises there. ;)
Jacob decided to make him a sword, shield and crown so that he can play knights and castles with them. Michael loved it all.
The Kids love to play Knights and Castles. Jacob is a knight, Rachel is the princess and often needs to be rescued. Emma is the meanest sword fighter west of the Mississippi (and she is too!). And Daddy is the all time bad guy. Homemade costumes rock!
In February Michael and I flew to Michigan attend the sealing of some of our best friends ever. While we were gone, Grandma and Grandpa watched the girls. Grandpa was a willing hot chocolate party goer. What a good sport!

In February we also went to visit my Grandparents in Las Cruces, NM. My sister and her family were there too and we enjoyed a wonderful time with them. We also got to help shake and gather pecans from their tree.
