Emma celebrated her second birthday during spring break. (I realized for the first time that she shares a birthday with the Relief Society and she is named Emma. How appropriate, right?) Emma loves balls and loves M&M's so we combined the two into an M&M ball for her birthday cake. She absolutely LOVED it.
She had a good time having Grandma and Grandad and Uncle Matt come visit. She still thanks Heavenly Father for having them come visit for her "happy birthday". Emma loved choosing her own birthday balloon and getting presents. Happy birthday Emma!
That weekend we were invited to some friends' cabin up near Prescott. The weather was cold and there was snow in the shade. The kids had such a good time. Emma made some new friends and had so much fun playing with them.
Jacob and Rachel loved riding the 4-wheelers. It was just as good as Disneyland. We loved watching them get on for the first time. Rachel was bouncing around on the seat, ready for an adventure. Jacob was studying the controls intensely while Michael explained some things. Our friend who drove Rachel said she never stopped talking. She was having quite the conversation with him, mostly about how fun it was. I just had to smile. That's my Rachel!

Yes, that's the 3-D ball cake pan. She kept saying she was getting a basketball cake because that's what the picture on the box was. :)
