Changes

My brother-in-law commented that we are going through almost every imaginable change, all at the same time. It's been a pretty hectic month!

Michael graduated from his endodontic residency which is a wonderful change. He is finally done with school! Wow, that means he has to WORK now. This may not be sudden, but it definitely takes some time to wrap our minds around it.

Since Michael found himself in need of a job, he ended up buying a practice in northwestern Phoenix. We've been very blessed to find this opportunity and are excited to be so far west of the Mississippi river!

Jacob started school a couple of weeks before we left Ohio. He loves kindergarten and says that he likes his new class here in Arizona better than his Ohio class. That's a good thing because he can't go back to Ohio!

Our move to Peoria was quite an adventure. It took a while to sort through and pack up our house. Michael's parents visited and watched the kids so much it really helped us get things ready in time. We loaded up our ABF truck and sent it on it's way and then made our way across the country. We spent 2 days in the car and then stopped in Dallas to visit my brother and his family during sunday. That left us with 2 more days in the car. We were all pretty happy to get OUT of the car! It was fun driving through cities and states where we had friends and saying "Hi!" to them as we drove by.

We are settled in now in Peoria where we have a wonderful ward and a wonderful school for Jacob. Michael starts working in his practice this week and we are just trying to get our bearings in a new place. Our adventure was only made sweeter and much more fun when we attended the baptism of some very dear friends the weekend after we moved. That was one of the best experiences in my life and I am so glad we could be there! Life is definitely exciting and definitely an adventure!
