We went camping with Kristy and her family this weekend. Camping with a twist. We decided it wasn't worth spending 50$ for one night of camping (the only places to camp are places you have to pay to camp) so instead, we camped out in Kristy's back yard. It was FUN! Jacob thought sleeping in a tent was a high adventure and Rachel thought the sound of the rain on the tent was worth staying awake for. It also happened to be Peter's birthday so Kristy made a super delicious peach cobbler in their dutch oven. The next day we went hiking at Mound State Park. It was gorgeous!
The kids had so much fun together. Cousins are instant friends!
I guess brother's are too!
The nature center had some great hands on exhibits for kids. They all took turns paddling the canoe.
Fun, but tiring! Emma wasn't the only one plum tuckered out! Thanks Kris for the great weekend!
