This week for Family Home Evening, we talked about Lehi's dream from the Book of Mormon. To help make the story more real, Michael had the bright idea of using our blocks.
We all made a 'rod of iron', 'tree of life' and even a 'great and spacious building'. We used the block people as Lehi, Nephi and even Laman and Lemuel.
There was even fruit on the tree. Jacob really got a kick out of it! He's been making iron rods and trees all week. How common is it to hear "Mommy, help me build a rod of iron!" Rachel, on the other hand, had a good time trying to hold all the people and knock down all the blocks.
