School started for 2 of my kids this year. Jacob started first grade and Rachel gets to go to preschool. Jacob had a hard time transitioning into a fullday of school because he missed his family and legos so much. Some serious bribing and a promise to wait for him to find his friends on the playground every morning has worked well for him.
Rachel was ready to go months before preschool even started. She loves every minute of it. She has a best friend named Kennedy who are apparently two peas in a pod.
Emma, James and I went on a Mommy-Emma date to the mall to play on the toys. It softened the blow of being left behind. A little.

Rachel looks really grown up here. Gwen is excited about preschool for next year. Can't believe we're at that point already.
