Halloween was a lot of fun. We had our ward halloween party about a week before halloween and Beggar's night in our city (a safe night NOT on a weekend where all the kids go trick or treating) was the Thursday before. By the time Halloween rolled around, we were all halloweened out!
Jacob decided he wanted to be Clifford again so he donned his "last year" costume which was now a little high on the ankles. But still just as big and red!
Rachel chose to be Tinkerbell so I made Emma a fairy too. Cutest little pixie I've ever seen!
Rachel would fly around in her costume saying "I'm flying to the Mainland!" (a reference to Tinkerbell the movie)
Trick or treating was fun. We stopped by our neighbor's first and then went to our old neighborhood where we saw many friends and MUCH candy!
We celebrated Jacob's birthday early this weekend when my sister and her family stopped by for a short visit. We enjoyed his birthday cake (a train. AGAIN! Third year running. I'm very quick and efficient at trains now. If anyone wants help with a train, let me know!) and hitting a birthday Pinata. Jacob was relentless. There was no stopping until candy spewed forth from that train!

super cool cake!! If he keeps asking for a train every year, will it grow each year by one train? It does look really cool.... you need to give us step by step instructions!!
