New House Quirks
So, one of the fun things when you move is that you have to get used to the quirks of your new place. You know, which floors squeak, how to turn the door knob silently on the kids room, what the perfect thermostat setting is...well, one of the quirkiest is that every single outlet in this entire house is UPSIDE DOWN. yep, upside down. With the little hole on the top. This doesn't sound like much, but subconsciously you get used to putting the plug in right side up. It takes me two tries to plug something into the wall outlet. Every time. This leads us to wonder...WHO put the outlets upside down? Was it a picky owner? A novice electrician? Your guess is as good as mine!

Yep, I remember that. Have you also noticed that all of the switched in the bathrooms seem to be backward with the light on the second switch and the fan on the first? I think the knobs also turn opposite what I was used to or something like that too.
